TILDA SWINTON, Drew Barrymore, and Gwyneth Paltrow love Kotur, which launched as a collection of evening bags made from exquisite couture brocades and silks from the sixties and seventies. The Hong Kong-based designer, Fiona Kotur Marin (sister of Vogue’s Style Director, Alexandra Kotur), came up with the Wallace, which elegantly alludes to the days when a woman didn’t leave home without gloves and the perfect handbag. Its sleek frame recalls a doctor’s bag, and materials include matte python, tumbled calf leather, and ostrich. From office tote to overnighter, it references the overscale accessory without being overwhelming – ideal for the new pencil skirt suit or with a big statement coat and trousers. – A.L.T.
