Fall Winter 2013

If there was a way we approached Fall 2013, it was with a moody and irreverent spin on glamour. Lending a gentle twist to opulence and decadence, we wanted to deliver a collection that has all the hallmarks of the most luxurious in evening bags, via touches of the unexpected.

Finding inspiration in far flung corners from the opulence of the gilded age to the Metropolitan Costume Institute’s upcoming Punk inspired exhibit, Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette, snacking on macaroons in her high tops, to Jeff Koons sculptures shown in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles and Debbie Harry, dripping in equal amounts of glamour and grunge, Kotur Fall 2013 is about a futuristic spin on decades old decadence.

Classic shapes are reworked in leopard print brocades, simple clutches now come in deeply saturated custom dyed snakeskin and florals are reimagined in black sequins and beading as a midnight garden. Studding, leather, holograms and deconstructed fabrics give a moody take on evening dressing, whilst our Da Da Surrealist collection offers an irreverent touch. With the launch of our new Deco Collection, we present iconic patterns in new scales, giving a slice of the Manhattan skyline perfect for pairing with everything from jeans to eveningwear. Kotur Fall 2013 is about rich color and luxurious fabrics that lend a tiny twist of grunge to your glamour. We hope you love it as much as we do.
