World of KOTUR: Musings with Erin Morris

I first came across Erin Morris on a junk in Hong Kong. She had pom poms in her hair and a wicked smile and she more than stood out from the crowd. Later, we met officially over a dinner in Shanghai and she has since given me many reasons to admire her. Together with her husband Jeremy, Erin is the force behind their family jewelry business David Morris. Established by his father, with a flagship on London’s Bond Street, their brand is known for creations that are as opulent as they are elegant and unique. You could say the same for Erin. Irreverent but appropriate, she is wonderfully creative, a woman who speaks her mind, has a strong point of view and is simply so fun to be with. Here, she shares her musings on what she’s loving, wearing and dreaming of right now.

1. MiH Halsy Jean - the perfect slouchy boyfriend jeans. End of story.
2. Diego sunglasses by Costalots - I can’t think of anything more modern than a grey acetate sunny – I will always love an aviator, but this feels so fresh.
3. Velvelt Fruilane by Caroline De Marchi - hello, a velvet tone-on-tone espadrille? Stop.
4. Nanette Lepore Etienne Mailot - a one piece that isn’t matronly in a classic blue and white print.
5. Aamaya by Priyanka Wishbone Bracelet - so delicate and lovely.
6. Evo Salty Dog Cocktail Beach Spray - the perfect salt spray to tame my wavy hair on humid days, it lends just enough texture and has a heavenly smell.
7. HIPP x RGB Nail Foundation - I am obsessed with this creamy shade, I’ve been wearing it on my nails for weeks.
8. KOTUR #getsmartbag - I just think this is the most brilliant thing. I bought one right away and am completely smitten with it – people are totally fascinated by it, it’s like a really chic party trick!
9. KOTUR Gilda Sandal - I can’t think of another word for this little heel except decadent. Just positively decadent. I am fantasizing about wearing it to the Kentucky Derby or a really fabulous luncheon this season.
10. Zara V-neck T-Shirts - buy them in bulk, wear them to death!
