How to tackle brights, dipping several toes in the sunnier side of fashion, whilst still pulling off a look that is chic and grown up appropriate takes quite some doing. With saturated colors appearing all over the catwalks, however, now is the time to try. Here are three ways we’ll be working color into our Spring wardrobe.

1. 2. Top to toe: As seen at Michal Kors and particularly at Gucci, the top to toe look (in the form of a tunic and trousers, specifically,) is a key Spring update. Work summery colors with gold accessories for a new way to do eveningwear this season. 3. Swing it with a statement skirt. Following Matthew Williamson’s lead, introduce a touch of color to your top to toe look with a boho luxe mini skirt for a fabulous summery cocktail outfit. Work it with a classic silk blouse and opulent accessories, and you’ll have an evening look that’s easy to dress up or down. We’re talking, of course, of Coachella, the 8 day Palm Springs music extravaganza that is also one big fashion moment. From hippie inspired chic to boho dresses, suede separates to T shirt shifts, the way to go is footloose, fancy free and fabulously dressed (of course.) 1. As ably demonstrated by Rosie Huntington Whiteley, shorts don’t need to read sloppy. Take yours printed or even better with a touch of sparkle, pair with a simple crisp white top and ankle boots and you’ll be ticking the too cool boxes without looking like a teenage wannabe.
